On Sunday the 24th March, we hosted our annual Black Belt pre grading seminar. This is open to all students wishing to apply for their Black Belt, and is and essential part of the black belt grading itself, as students get assessed and given feedback on all areas of the Black Belt grading.
This first session was attended by 102 students all wishing to grade for Black Belt in May. The atmosphere was electric in the hall,as everyone did their best to show the assessors of their ability. Every student had to perform their patterns in front of the rest of the group, which is a nerve racking feat, but they all held it together and perfomred very well under pressure.
Students were given lots of advice and encouragement, and although not everyone attending will be ready for the Black Belt grading, the standard generally was really high.
Well done to all students for getting this far, and we look forwrards to seeing you all on the next session – 14th April.
