We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate our 48 students who successfully passed their black belt grading on Saturday 5th May. It was a very intense experience, with students having to prepare for many months before hand. The grading started at 11am with the grading manager repeating the oath of taekwondo. They all then proceeded with an intense warm up and grading that lasted 7 hours, and included many different disciplines such as line work, patterns, self defence, and board breaking.
The Highest marks of the day went to George Palcic, who did a spectacular break on two breeze blocks, the second highest was Anay Malhotra, who at 7 years old, was also the youngest person grading. All students broke at least 2 or three pieces of wood on the day, and all of them performed a demonstration in front of over 100 people.
We would like to thank our assistants who worked hard on the day to give such a well organised and professional experience for everyone. Big thanks go to Anil Malhotra, Kushali Halai, and Adam Norman for all the work they did.
Check out our photo’s to see plenty of action from the day.
