OUR next competition – LTSI ENGLISH OPEN – sun 6th October
A great entry level competition –
Okay, this is a big one for us. Our next competition is in Hatfield (just up the road from us all) and is an excellent event! It is a great family run tournament that is very well organised and controlled, and is perfect for gaining some well need experience in competitions for students.
We shall have about 200 of our students taking part in this great event, so do not miss out on what will be an amazing day for all!!
For ONLY £25, students can take part in all divisions including sparring and patterns, team patterns, and adults breaking. You are also allowed to bring 2 spectators per entry totally free of charge!! This is a great price for a really good competition. The last time we did this competition we picked up many gold and silver medals, and had a great day. We even won the very prestigious men’s Black belt team patterns, beating PUMA world champions!
Why are competitions like this good?!
Competitions give a great chance for students to test their skills against others under real conditions. They also encourage students to train hard and focus, and also give amazing team spirit for the students and our fantastic group. We would always recommend students at some point compete so that they can get all the experience that competitions give.
What to do next?
If you want to compete and be part of the 200 plus students we shall be sending (there is an expected 600 competitors on the day) then please hurry and fill in the application form (attached or can get from instructor) and return to your instructor. We shall be supplying at least 4 coaches on the day to help the students do the best they can, as well as at least 8 umpires and officials to help run the event.
If you have any further details needed you can contact our tournament manager (Suhrab Sayfi III) on email – palcictkdtournaments@gmail.com
Good luck and go for it!!!
Please note that all entry forms and payment need to be returned to us by Tuesday 24th August. No exceptions.
